Werbezeichen relies on efficient and digital business processes. Through automation and the use of data interfaces, significant time savings are achieved in the value chain from product purchasing to inventory management and sales. Unfortunately, most store systems cannot keep up with this - which is why a customized solution was needed that is just as scalable as the business model.

Solution

Instead of setting up another "one-size-fits-all" store system, we worked with Werbezeichen to build a modular commerce platform that precisely maps every process step and grows with the business at the same time. The headless architecture combines a lightweight Next.js frontend with micro-services on Kubernetes and opens up full creative freedom with maximum performance. Purchasing, warehouse, CRM and supplier catalogs are linked in real time via APIs; stocks are updated automatically, workflows such as ordering, production release and shipping are triggered by a central orchestration service as soon as defined thresholds are reached. A self-service portal allows B2B customers to manage product ranges, CI templates and budgets themselves, which significantly reduces the workload of the service team. Thanks to the cloud-native basis, the platform scales horizontally in seconds - everything remains stable and fast even at peak trade fair or Christmas times.

The new solution reduces the number of manual touchpoints from quotation to dispatch; the team can once again focus on providing advice instead of entering data. Seamless scheduling and production planning shortens delivery times, while loading times of less than a second increase conversion and minimize bounce rates. Releases are made via CI/CD without downtime, so that Werbezeichen remains online and ready for innovation at all times. Open APIs and the micro-service substructure also ensure future extensions: New sales channels or marketplace integrations can be easily docked "plug-and-play" if required - an investment that creates added value today and leaves room for growth tomorrow.
